A.R.O - Australia Rolling Open 2023
It’s been a long time since Sydney held the Australian Rolling Open but the time has come and The Few Studio & Airborne Blading Academy are proud to announce that on Saturday, December the 2nd Australia’s biggest Rollerblading competition will be coming to the Harbour City. Mark it down on your calendars and start preparing yourselves as we are planning to make this an event you don’t want to miss.
We at Airborne Blading Academy are honoured to be given the opportunity to host this amazing event that is rich with history and prestige. We hope to see everyone that attended our Australian Rollerblading Series competition in Cessnock earlier this year and those that couldn’t be there to round off what’s been one hell of a year for our sport and industry and crown some champions in the Open, Unsponsored, Bladies, Under 18’s, OG over 35’s categories & we are adding one more trophy for ‘Blader of the year’ on behalf of the Australian Rollerblading Series.

Biggest Jam Ever -1st Birthday
Can you believe we have been officially teaching Sydney siders how to rollerblade for a year already? We have put on a major competition in Cessnock as part of the Australian Rollerblading Series earlier this year, co-hosted a roller disco, been part of the international World roll out day & sponsored local skate nights and helped many kids & adults discover a passion for rollerblading. We are so proud of our efforts in our first year and to celebrate we want to invite everyone to the biggest jam ever on Sunday, the 1st of October 2023 at the park that started our coaching journey, Mutch Park skatepark in Pagewood.
We will be bringing some ramps & rails to modify the park a bit and giving some prize money for the best trick of the day. There will be music & food also so please leave that day free and come join us for a massive jam session. Hip hop hooray!!! Can’t wait to jam with you all.
Australian Rollerblading Series
We are way too excited about this one! We really need the rollerblading community behind this one so we can continue to put on more events like this, all around Australia! So PLEASE share this wherever you can and no matter what level you're at, we'd love to see you compete. Rollerblading is always fun first but through competition, we tend to push it a little further and that's when the magic happens. We deserve to be up there with the Skateboarders & BMXers at the Olympics and this is how we show them!
